A day of extreme emotion
I will provide music that empathises with the moment’s emotion. Sad with a great sense of loss, we want to go back in time, but we know that’s impossible. We don’t know what to do at the present moment, especially feeling fearful of the future when the loved one is gone.
Music used in funeral services is wide-ranging, it does not have to be restricted to hymns or religious items. The fact you are reading this means you have some spare moments, or you are helping someone else to put the funeral service together, including the music used therein. The following is a small selection of what should be suitable for the service, although some have chosen from the second list. My full list is in my repertoire page.
